Our story

In December 2003, God watered a seed that was hidden in Pastor Duncan’s spirit with a simple question… “Have you ever thought about starting your own church?”  In March 2004, an organizational meeting was held with two families - the Duncan’s, along with Jeff and Tracy Street, who generously provided start-up funds to establish Faith and Family Church (FFC).  With great expectation, in June 2004, Pastor Duncan rented a church building to hold the first service and trusted God that FFC would not be church as usual! On that 6th day of June, the rented church house was full and Pastor Duncan was able to create a space where God began to build Faith and Family.

There are many who may value their history by measuring the amount of brick and mortar that they have been able to accumulate.  However, our history is in each and every one of the individuals that walk through our doors and experiences God’s love.  We have a physical address (to which all roads lead), but that’s just our gathering place.  Our history is in the homeless shelters where we serve food to those in need, it’s in the communities to which we provide healthcare screenings, it’s in the abused women for whom we are able to provide a safe haven, and it’s in the school-aged girls who are empowered to value their purity. To truly know what Faith and Family church is about, get to know the people who each have a testimony of their own and embody its vision to build consummate balanced people doing good works in the community.

Today, Faith and Family Church has welcomed thousands of individuals into the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and has been a resource to show many others the meaning of Kingdom living. Weekly, hundreds of people unite with the goal of learning to live by faith and build a Godly family.

Our story isn’t finished.  There are still seeds to be planted, ideas to be birthed, and people to love.  We’d love to love you.  Come write our history with us!
