What is "NBA"?

Faith and Family Church has joined forces with GoodFaithFoodBox.org to provide affordable groceries to the Richmond Virginia community it serves. The host site program is called the NBA - "NOT BREAD ALONE". 

Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.' " Matthew 4: 3-5

It is difficult to reach people with the word of God when they are hungry and poorly nourished. Many single parent families or even families with two workers find it difficult to put well balance meals on the table for their families.

The NBA will provide groceries for about 50% of the usual cost. One unit of groceries costs $30. One unit is designed to feed a family of four for about one week or a single person for almost a month. Each unit contains groceries an approximate retail value of $60. 

There are no income requirements, no qualifications, and no applications required!

How and when can I order my groceries?

Place your order ONLINE or come to Faith & Family Church to make your orders every Sunday after each service (Services are 9 am and 11 am) & every Saturday from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Ask for an NBA staff person.

Forms of payment

  • Walk-in Orders: cash, money orders, and EBT (Food Stamps)
  • Online Orders: Credit Cards & Debit Cards will be accepted
  • Orders will not be held and there are no refunds once an order is placed.

How do I pick up my groceries?

YOU MUST PICK UP YOUR FOOD ON DISTRIBUTION DAY!
Food orders left unclaimed after this date will be donated to families in need.
Please bring your receipt.
