28 Then Jesus cried out, as He taught in the temple, saying, “You both know Me, and you know
where I am from; and I have not come of Myself, but He who sent Me is true, whom you do not
know. 29 But I know Him, for I am from Him, and He sent Me.”
Jesus cares for all of us so much that HE KNOWS our struggles with family, betrayal and even
your own emotions. HE KNOWS!
FAMILY: Within John 7 Jesus truly demonstrates to us that “HE KNOWS.” He knows that
sometimes we are believing for something, praying for a miracle and trusting in Him, but our
own family may not believe with us. When you feel that your own family is not with you that
can be a major discouragement. But guess what? In verse 5 Jesus went through it as well, when
His own brothers didn’t believe in Him. HE KNOWS!
BETRAYAL: HE KNOWS that some people are just not for you and may even betray you.
Jesus went through the same thing in verse 12 as they murmured and talked behind his back, but they wouldn’t say it out loud. Then further in scripture one of his own disciples/friends betrayed him! HE KNOWS!
EMOTIONS: And lastly, HE KNOWS your emotions and feelings. HE KNOWS when you are
happy and even when you marvel of Him (verse 21) and even when you are angry or upset with
Him and/or others (verse 23). Have you ever said, “People don’t understand me” or “People just don’t know how I feel,” but HE KNOWS!
Jesus continually proves to us in John chapter 7, that HE KNOWS all and truly cares for those
who love and believe in HIM. So, do YOU REALLY KNOW HIM? Are you actively seeking
HIS heart and not HIS hand? The more we seek HIS heart, the more HE will reach out and give
us HIS hand!

Dear Lord, thank you for KNOWING and understanding me. I am grateful for your
unconditional love and grace. As I began this new year, please help me focus on going ABOVE
& BEYOND my family issues, my “haters,” and my emotions. In JESUS name, AMEN!
