23 Therefore his parents said, “He is of age; ask him.” 24 So they again called the man who was blind, and said to him, “Give God the glory! We know that this Man is a sinner.” 25 He answered and said, “Whether He is a sinner or not I do not know. One thing I know: that though I was blind, now I see.”
Note: Review the chapter to get the context.

Amazing grace is a Christian hymn published in 1779 by English poet, clergy man John Newton. He wrote the words from a personal experience. He grew up without any religious convictions but his life’s path consisted of questionable decisions including the Atlantic Slave Trade. Recognizing that this was morally wrong, he cried out to God for mercy. He converted to Christianity with the message of forgiveness and redemption that is possible to all human beings regardless of their sins and that their souls could be delivered by God’s amazing grace. Like many of us, we’re born spiritual blinded by the truth of scripture that says:

Romans 3:23 (NKJV)
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Just like this man that Jesus healed, we need a touch from the Master in order for us to receive our spiritual sight. We should then go and tell someone what the Lord has done for us. That is exactly what this man did in this story. He testified about what God has done. Do you have a testimony that someone needs to hear?

Let me testify to you right now!!!!
Calvin’s testimony is:

Amazing Grace how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me. I once was lost but now I'm found I was blind but now I see!!! Praise God, Praise God, Praise God, Praise God, Praise God, Praise God, PRAISE GOD!!!!!!!! I am going to learn how to play “Amazing Grace” on my guitar. Holla at your boy this Sunday at FFC and that will tell me who actually read this devotion….lol

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for your amazing grace! I recognize that I was a sinner saved by your amazing grace. I was blind but now I see, therefore I receive your grace and forgiveness. Holy Spirit help me to extend this wonderful grace to everyone. In Jesus name, Amen
