John 3:16-17 (NKJV)

16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that
whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For
God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the
world through Him might be saved.

Can you remember your most memorable letter you wrote or received?
Think about it, just the fact that God loves the sinner, the prostitute, the
thief, the street person, the liar, the deceiver, the adultery, the fornicator,

John 3:16 is one of the most beloved and recognizable verses in the Bible.
The verse is full of love and encouragement. Just to know that God loves
you with an unconditional love and His desire is that no one perishes is
very comforting.

Let us examine this most beloved verse.
Jesus revealed God’s great love towards all mankind.

1. God loved the world.

1 John 4:16 (NKJV)
16 And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is
love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.

2. The evidence of God’s love was that He gave.

Romans 5:8 (NKJV)
8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still
sinners, Christ died for us.

3. The reason God gave was to save the lost.

1 John 4:9 (NKJV)
9 In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His
only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.

John 3

I want to challenge you this year to really be intentional about receiving
God’s love and giving God’s love.
We are living in a time where people are looking for encouragement and
comfort. I believe that we have the answer in Christ.
Let’s spread His love with those who are hurting and bring healing to them
by sharing John 3:16-17.

Heavenly Father, I receive your love and I will share it with others. Holy
Spirit lead and guide me to people who need a touch from you. I want to be
a bearer of good news and help people to live “Above and Beyond” their
circumstances. In Jesus Name, Amen
