John 20:7 Jesus said to her,  "Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?”

John 20:19… Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be with you.”

As this passage of scripture unfolds, Joseph of Arimathea had received permission from Pilate to retrieve Jesus' body and bury Him in a tomb in a garden.  Nicodemus was with him as he provided spices.  On Sunday morning, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb only to discover that Jesus was not there.  She ran frantically to Simon Peter and John to share the news.  They saw for themselves that Jesus was not there.  John saw that the tomb was empty and believed. Jesus began talking to Mary, calling her name and as she was ‘in her feelings,’ she simply could not hear Him.  Jesus spoke with the disciples and told them,‘be at peace' as Thomas doubted Jesus’ presence.

Has there ever been a time in your life when you were believing God for a breakthrough or a need?  After you prayed days, weeks or years, you felt as though God didn't hear you or you didn't see the hand of God in your life?

God was there with the disciples in the form of Jesus Christ AND the power of the Holy Spirit was given to them.  God is in the midst of your situation right now! Psalm 34:15 “The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry."  BELIEVE to SEE!  Continue to believe He will perform His Word, continue to receive His Word, and continue to stand on His Word.  Today, respond to God with a prayer of thanksgiving for what He's already done.  There's no need to cry. Dry your tears and be at peace,  because Jesus is Risen!  Use that power!

Ephesians 3:20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.
